BENC Brown Bag Day, 22 April, 2016, NUBS 2.12

General information

The aim of the event is to give an opportunity to everyone in BENC (including PhD students) an opportunity to informally present, and receive feedback on, a piece of their planned/in progress/completed behavioural/experimental research at any stage of development. All disciplinary approaches represented in BENC are welcome.

There are many good motivations for participating and presenting in the Brown Bag day. You could be thinking about a project, actively writing up a grant application, or fine-tuning an experimental design; or it could be that you have started running experimental sessions, working on a behavioural model but you need feedback on how to progress this, or it may be a more traditional research presentation. There will also be an opportunity or two for broader discussions. It could be that you are just looking for feedback or it could be that you are actively looking for a collaborator or collaborators. We want the event to be as flexible as possible.
